Finding quality ales can be hard, but once discovered,
proving the quality can be even harder.
As a result, it is very reassuring when we receive awards
for an ale that has beaten all the competitors. |
Tanglefoot Gets Bronze - OLN International Beer and Cider Competition (2000)
Tastebuds were tickled and tested over the two days of judging
for OLN's International Beer and Cider Competition.
More than 230 beers from around the world were judged on taste,
design and image by a panel of 40 experts. Each of the 17 categories
was awarded a gold, silver and bronze winner.
Best Beer in the World
"This competition is unique in the beer and cider sector
as it judges products from a consumer perspective. Judging
is based on a combination of packaging design, taste and drinkability.
After all, a wonderfully tasting product is not going to sell
in an off-licence if its packaging is badly designed." - Kate
Oppenheim, editor, OLN
Overall Winner - Brewing Industry International Awards (1987)
